Adult Finnish Language Course

New Adult Finnish Language Course for the Beginners is starting

on Monday, March 23, 2015.

10 classes will be held at the Scan. Centre, Saga Room on Mondays from 7-9 pm. Saga Room entrance is located in the back of the building.

The cost of the course is $70 and all the participants has to have CFCA membership. Membership form is attached to this notice.

The textbook we’ll be using is “Hyvin menee I” – Finnish for adults book, which contains; textbook, dictionary and a CD. Learning material is $100 and can be purchased in the beginning of the class.

Miracles really do happen!

Helen Keller is blind, deaf and mute. In a battle of wills, a young teacher fight to release the child from her dark, silent world. This true story captures the drama of Annie Sullivan’s perseverance and her hard-won friendship with a little girl who no one could save.

Seniors (60 years or older) write a cheque of $45.00 person payable to Finlandia Calgary Cultural Association with Names, Dates of Birth a well as contact phone number or email address written on the back. Send your cheque(s) to CFCA 739 – 20 Avenue NW, Calgary AB T2M 1E2. If any information is missing, your reservation will be on hold until we get all the info required.

As the cheque(s) arrive, we will reserve the ticket(s) and seats on the bus. The cheques will be returned to you as you show up on the bus. If you for some reason need to cancel your reservation, please contact Heli immediately.

As our theater trips are mostly meant for seniors (60 years old and older) there are sometimes tickets left over and can be purchased by younger people. The ticket prize is $61.95. Once on the bus we will collect $10 from everyone before reaching Rosebud to cover the tips for restaurant amenities and the bus driver.
